Maxine is a miniature fox terrier who once had arthritis.

At the age of eleven, she was diagnosed with really bad arthritis in her legs.

She could hardly walk. Everyone agreed with the vet. We should end the agony, and put her out of her misery. But I loved her dearly, ever since I bought her as a puppy. My children and Maxine all grew-up together.

Then I knew exactly what to do. Maxine wasn't eating, she had completely lost her appetite. So using a syringe, I fed her fresh Aloe vera gel. It helped her quickly to re-gain some strength.

In three months she was walking much better. And in six months, all of her swollen joints had almost halved in size.

The people at Marcus Beach, where we go for walks regularly, were amazed at how well she was becoming.

After twelve months of syringing the Aloe vera into her mouth, the arthritis was all gone.

Now she's a happy bouncing little lady again.
